X-Yachts Gold Cup 2023

Once again Sailing Aarhus and X-Yachts are pleased to invite all X-Yachts owners to Aarhus for this years X-Yachts Gold Cup in Aarhus International Sailing Center from August 17 – 20 2023.

Around 100 danish build X-Yachts boats joined us in Aarhus back in 2021 celebrating X-Yachts Gold Cup with lots of racing, fun and social activities on shore with Saturdays regatta dinner and Bruce Springsteen tribute as a clear highlight from a fantastic event. This year the X-Yachts boats are ready to shine yet again in Aarhus Yacht Harbour close the very center of Aarhus.

– We are very much looking forward to welcoming X-Yachts Gold Cup back in Aarhus. We had a fantastic cooperation with X-Yachts and their team last time around in 2021. This year we will continue to strengthen this partnership. The 2021 event was influenced by COVID-19, but this time there will be nothing to prevent us from throwing the biggest sailing party ever seen, says Jon Koch Hansen, CEO of Sailing Aarhus.

Sailing Aarhus and X-Yachts are expecting around 1.000 sailors to join the party in August 2023. Registration is now open!

The program the X-Yachts Gold Cup presented by Jysk Vin, is as follows:

Thursday 17^th of August

10.00 – 21.00: Regatta Office is open for registration & Sailor’s bar is open. 

18.00 – 22.00: Welcome reception – Speeches, Dinner (to be preordered) & Music

Friday 18^th of August

07:00: Regatta Office open until end of protest time limit.

07:00 – 09:00: Breakfast (to be preordered) and Lunch-boxes handout (to be preordered)

10:00: First warning signal of the day

16:00: After sailing get-together at the Sailing Center. Visit the wine bar by Jysk Vin

19:00 – 23.00: Speeches and daily pricegiving, Dinner (to be preordered) & Music

Saturday 19^th of August

07:00: Regatta Office open until end of protest time limit.

07:00 – 09:00: Breakfast (to be preordered) and Lunch-boxes handout (to be preordered)

10:00: First warning signal of the day

16:00: After sailing get-together at the Sailing Center. Visit the wine bar by Jysk Vin.

19:00 – 01.00: Speeches and price giving, daily and overall,Regatta dinner (to be preordered), Music and dancing (Bruce Springsteen tribute)

Sunday 20^th of August

07:00 – 10:00: Hand out hang-over-lunch-bag (to be preordered)
